Job Summary: The Project
Manager – Education will be responsible for the development and monitoring of
the Education Core Competency projects within the NRC West Nile programme.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for the Education
projects on national level - Regularly monitor the Education projects
and ensure high technical quality and synergies - Prepare/verify proposals related to this
sector - In charge of the evaluation, review and
quality control of ongoing and completed Education programmes - Identify trends in conditions/standards
and donor priorities and assess better ways to assist - Training and development of staff
- Ensure adherence to the Education tools
and handbooks and other NRC policies - Build and maintain partnerships in the
humanitarian community and coordinate with authorities at provincial and
ministry level

Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant for the Norwegian Refugee
Council (NRC) Project Manager – Education should hold a relevant
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences - At least four years’ experience from
working as a senior Project Manager/Programme Manager in a humanitarian/
recovery context - Previous experience from working in
complex and volatile contexts - Knowledge about own leadership
skills/profile - Fluency in English, both written and
verbal - Managing resources to optimize results
- Strategic thinking
- Empowering and building trust
- Handling insecure environments
