Products (APM) Project
Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) is working in
collaboration with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in
implementing a project to support “Agro Processing and Marketing of
Agricultural Products (APM) Project.” The overall goal of the Project is to
establish an Agro Processing and Marketing Strategy through empowering and
building capacity of the rural based farmers to undertake agro processing and
marketing of Maize and Rice.
- Drive the Project vehicle during assigned
official duties - Ensure Project vehicle is maintained in sound
mechanical condition - Ensure proper service of the vehicle
regularly - Maintain an update vehicle log book
- Regularly report any defects, accidents and
mechanical defaults to relevant authorities - Perform any other assigned duties
- The Project Driver should preferably hold a Uganda
Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least a pass in English and
Mathematics - Clean driving license preferably B and DL
class - At least five years’ experience of driving in
a reputable organization Highly flexible and organized - Excellent oral and written communication
skills - Must have passed competency driving test
administered by Ministry of Works and Transport - Good knowledge of motor vehicle mechanics is
an added advantage - Ability to work beyond normal working hours
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Age:
Between 21-35 years
