growth. Zoe would like to recruit for a valuable client in the coffee industry.
Officer will primarily carry out Crop Production (Supply and Demand) Analysis.
Collect all production related information
including yields, acreages, costs of production, pests and disease levels
Structure and analyze all relevant coffee supply
data
Conduct field work through crop surveys and
regular farm visit
Structure, consolidate and analyze all relevant
crop survey data
Provide sound analysis and ensure efficient and
timely communication with analysts
Coffee weather monitoring and forecasting
Ensure close stakeholder linkage and feedback
Orient, train, and assign duties to assistants
and other company employees as needed
Overall supervision and evaluation of
performance of duties
Approve work schedules and leave requests
Ensure professional conduct and overall
adherence to work ethics by junior staff
Properly designed crop surveys and follow up
visits
Timely and sound crop and scenario analysis
Good communication with the team
On time, relevant, complete and accurate data
collection and reporting
Valuable recommendations for purchase decision
making
Experience:
The applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor’s
degree in Agriculture, agronomy
At least two years in the commodity industry,
International exposure
Computer literacy skills
Articulate research findings from fundamental
market analysis
Support overall research functions with market
data and insights
Knowledge of agronomic practices and techniques
Able to create and develop resourceful ideas and
solutions, to improve and process, information in area of work
Customer focus – Build close relationships with
stakeholders and ensure alignment
Proactive in driving processes and tasks to
achieve results.
Ability to work with people
Able to work in a multicultural environment
Strong team orientation as key to factor access
Task ownership and responsibility of own
decisions and actions
Organised methodical and structured working
approach
Able to prioritize tasks, follow up, meet
deadlines and manage expectations.

Understanding of commodity crop cycles and the
key drivers of production
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
ability to explain agronomic findings to a lay audience
Language Proficiency: Perfect spoken
English, and the language of the area of operation
