Job Summary: The Project Manager will oversee the technical
(e.g. Radio & planning Optimization, New Site build, site upgrades)
projects implementation cycle, resource & stakeholder engagements,
contractors to ensure workmanship quality for all projects delivered.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects are executed using best
practice Project management guidelines - Implement projects as per Marketing/network
Road-Maps - Ensure Regular Project reporting as per
Business requirements - Ensure that all projects are implemented
within specified time lines and within Quality Plan - Ensure handover of all completed Projects to
the respective internal customers - Prepare project timelines with fully
interdependence in the project activities - Ensuring all projects follow customer
centricity guidelines - Properly Manage Project risks
- Properly Manage Project Procurement
- Properly Manage Project Contracts
- Project human resource management
- Manage project documentation
- Ensure capitalization of all completed
Projects
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for this vacancy must
hold a Degree in Engineering/ Project management or relevant University
Degree - Post graduate Diploma in Project Management
or recognized Certification in Project management is added advantage - A minimum of five years’ experience in
running business projects end to end is a MUST as well as supervising
& managing others - Prior project management exposure with
network roll out - Further qualifications in Contract
management, Tender process or Project management - Other attributes
- Computer literacy with emphasis on project
management packages MS project or Enterprise system - Ability to work long hours if necessary
- Possess good Interpersonal Skills with
ability to take Initiative - Flexibility to travel extensively within
Uganda - Able to work under pressure
- Possess good Communication Skills
- Ability to drive a company car would be an
added advantage - Experience working on multidimensional
projects - Excellent understanding of activity timing
and impact assessment - Demonstrable capacity for multi-tasking
