Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Head of Operations will lead and manage
the company’s subsidiary in Kampala - Develop an annual strategic plan for all the
departments and ensure its timely implementation Ensure marketing budgets
are efficiently and effectively used to bring annual growth in sales
Ensure financial statements are prepared and presented as per good
accounting practices - Build and maintain a professional
relationship with multinationals/suppliers - Strictly comply to Company and Group Policies
(e.g. Group Anti-Corruption Policy, Code of Business Ethics, Safety &
Health…) - Ensure that we excel in our level of service
to our customers - Effectively coach team members to upgrade
staff skills and maximise existing talents while developing new
capabilities - Work on cost reduction measures and increased
efficiency
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants for the Head of Operations vacancy
must hold a Degree/ Post graduate level in Management, Engineering or
Medical Science - A minimum of five years’ relevant working
experience at Management/ Senior Management position - Proven leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication, presentation and
negotiation skills - Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Customer-focused
- Self-starter
