Law Society is a membership organization established by an Act of Parliament to
provide services to its members in particular and to the people of Uganda in
general. Its vision is to excel as a
professional body in the development of the legal profession and promotion of
justice in Uganda. Its mission is to improve the professional standards of
members of the legal profession and to promote human rights and the rule of
law, by assisting the government and the judiciary in the administration and
practice of law in Uganda. Uganda Law Society operates a Legal Aid Project.
- The Law Clerk will be filing of court
documents. - Keeping the Legal Officer up to date on
upcoming cases in court. - In charge of servicing of court process and
other documents and correspondences. - Responsible for the collection and filing of
court cause list. - Perform any other lawful duties as shall be
assigned
- The applicant must hold a diploma in law.
- Process server’s license is a must.
- Computer literacy skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational
skills. - An open and customer oriented approach to
work - Good team building skills
- Ability to ride a motorcycle
