Most At Risk Populations (MARPs) Network is a not-for-profit Non-Governmental
Organization (NGO) whose purpose is “to serve as a platform for MARPs voices
through facilitating coordinated response at national level in Uganda.”
and Administration Manager will ensure that MARPs Network operates at the
leading edge of operational efficiency through overseeing the Finance, Procurement,
Administration and Human Resource functions of MARPs Network while supporting
the executive leadership to deliver on strategic and operational priorities.
- Manage all finance and accounting functions
including budgeting; asset management; cash flow management; payroll;
management reporting; financial, variance and accounts analysis; and
periodic reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting
principles, financial policies and procedures of MARPs Network, and all
other applicable laws, and other contractual obligations - In charge of resource mobilization, and
grants’ and contract management - Manage all aspects of human resource
management for employees including but not limited to recruitment,
induction and development, performance management, facilitating the
process of motivation, and working with employees’ supervisors to
implement employee policies in accordance with relevant Employment law
requirements - Provide leadership in development of current
and long-term organizational goals and objectives as well as policies and
procedures for MARPs Network finance, procurement and general
administration operations - Perform any other duty assigned by the
Supervisor
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
in Commerce or Business Administration or equivalent - Possession of a Master’s Degree in Business
Administration is an added advantage - Certified accountant ACCA, CPA or equivalent
- A minimum of five years’ post qualification
of senior financial management experience in a non- governmental
organization - Hands on use of a variety of accounting
software including but not limited to Navision Dynamics - Management of donor funding up to final
financial report with exposure to reporting requirements of such donors
DFID, CDC and Global Fund - Working with Partner Organisations
- (Project appraisal and development up to
securing of funding - Development of organizational strategic plans
- Significant experience in working with
Populations most at risk of HIV and other vulnerable populations
