- The Assistant Secretary in charge of Human
Resource must hold a Master’s Degree in Human Resource
Development/Management - So, the applicant should hold a Bachelor’s
degree in Relevant Field of at least Second Class - At least three years of relevant experience
in a University or Higher Institution of learning of equivalent level. - Ability to work with minimum supervision and
a good team player - The applicant must be a person of strong
faith, integrity and a committed Christian. - Proficient in Human Resource Management
- Skilled in drafting job descriptions
- Skilled and experienced in performance review
methods & techniques - Responsible for staff training, development
and recognition - Delegation
- Skilled in mentoring and coaching
- Broad knowledge and understanding of relevant
legislation, policies and procedure - Supervisory skills
- Good team building skils
- Good problem solving sills
- Basic counseling skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Effective verbal and listening skills
