About US:
The
Government of Uganda (GoU) through the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry
and Fisheries (MAAIF) is going to implement the South-South Cooperation Phase 2
(SSCP2) Project. South-South Cooperation
Project is a 2-year project to be implemented in selected districts in Uganda.
The main objective of SSCP2 is to promote new Chinese Agricultural Technologies
in the areas of Horticulture, Cereals, Livestock, Aquaculture and Crosscutting
issues such as Agribusiness and Value Addition.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving the vehicle during
the scheduled time; - Ensuring the vehicle is in good condition
before driving it; - Ensure proper maintenance of schedules
carried out before driving; - Ensure the vehicle is parked in the
appropriate and secure place during after work; - Keeping and maintaining a vehicle log book;
- Ensuring the vehicle is clean;
- Performing any other duties that may be
assigned from time to time by the supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants for the Driver Job
Opportunities should be in possession of an Ordinary level Certificate of
Education with a pass in English; - Hold a valid driving permit of classes B and
CM - At least five years clean and accident free driving
experience in a reputable organization. - Able to work in a team;
- Must be able to work and stay under
field/rural condition; - Skilled in defensive driving will be added
advantage
