Job Summary: The Revenue Assurance Manager will be responsible
for managing end-to-end assurance of revenue and cost-of-sales, from source
through to wholesale and retail billing, across all revenue streams
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Providing effective revenue, Cost and Margin
    Assurance across all revenue streams.
  • Proactively work with business and other
    support functions to ensure adequate controls are in place throughout the
    revenue cycle to prevent revenue loss or leakage;
  • Proactively design and improve controls and
    queries to promptly detect fraud and raise alerts
  • Effective test of all products, promotions
    and tariffs to ensure ‘ correctness of charging / billing mechanisms: and
    proactively engage in design, test, launch and execution of new tariffs,
    products and promotions
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the Vodafone Revenue Assurance Manager career opportunity should hold a University degree with a good pass
    record
  • The applicant must hold professional
    accounting qualifications i.e. ACCA, CPA, and CIMA
  • At least five years’ experience in a similar
    role in telecommunications
  • Proven exposure and experience in enterprise
    systems and computerised accounting packages including SAP
  • Proven knowledge of International Financial
    Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • SQL or Oracle DBA certification
  • The applicant should be capable of
    multi-tasking, with excellent time management skills and a dedication to
    meeting deadlines and SLAs
  • Significant experience of telecoms billing
    systems
  • Proven strong ethics and personal integrity
  • Ability to automate reconciliations and
    design exception reports.
  • Fast, flexible, hardworking and dynamic
  • Ability to work as an active team player with
    all Vodafone Uganda personnel
