Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning, budgeting,
directing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating nutritional programmes
of the organization. - Managing and accounting for the allocated
resources. - Ensure timely report writing and data
analysis. - Providing guidance on the purchasing of food
and planning other activities. - In charge of designing special diets for
therapeutic purposes. - Advising/counseling people with nutritional
problems. - Participating in community outreach services
for adequate nutrition. - Imparting knowledge and skills to staff
- Adhering to professional Code of Conduct and
Ethics. - Performing any other duties as may be
assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Nutritionist should hold a degree in
human Nutrition and Dietetics. - One year of related experience is desired
- Broad knowledge and understanding of the
current MoH guidelines in regard to nutrition. - Computer literacy i.e. well versed with
Microsoft office.
