was established in 1993 by members of the Jomo Kenyatta Family, including his

Gulf-area-based private equity firm Abraaj Capital paid US$18.7 million for 10

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Standards & Compliance Officer will
be tasked with the development, maintenance and updating of legal and
statutory obligations for the company - Ensure compliance to identified legislations
within set deadlines - Implement quality management systems and ensure
compliance to standard - Schedule and report on audit findings
- Co-ordinate audits for all management systems
- Work closely with relevant systems
certification bodies the company subscribes to - Process licenses and permits for the company
- Stay abreast with all legal notices, acts and
other supplements
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Brookside Standards
& Compliance Officer job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s Degree
in Food or Dairy Science and Technology or related field - A minimum of five years’ experience in Food
or Beverage industry and systems - Excellent analytical and problem solving
skills
