Limited is a subsidiary of Brookside Africa Limited, a dairy processing company
in Kenya, the largest economy in the East African Community. Brookside Dairies
was established in 1993 by members of the Jomo Kenyatta Family, including his
son Uhuru Kenyatta, who was elected President of Kenya in 2013. In 2009, the
Gulf-area-based private equity firm Abraaj Capital paid US$18.7 million for 10
percent shareholding in the business. In 2014, French yoghurt maker Danone paid
an undisclosed sum to acquire a 40 percent stake in Brookside. Beginning in
2013, Brookside has expanded by buying stakes in rival milk processing plants
in Kenya, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and Uganda. In Uganda, they partly own a
subsidiary, Sameer Agriculture and Livestock Limited.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Marketing Manager will develop and
implement campaigns to create awareness and increase brand share on all
Fresh Dairy & Brookside Brands - The incumbent will oversee and maintain a
good corporate image - Market, brand and advertise all company
products - Formulate marketing strategies, developments
implementation - Develop annual calendar of events
- Carry out market research on brand
performance & customer perception - Plan and participate in CSR programs
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Brookside Marketing
Manager job opportunity should hold a Degree in Commerce, Marketing or
related field - At least five years’ experience working in
dynamic environment - Excellent management and public relations
skills - Creative ability
