Job Summary: The Human Resources Manager oversees Human
Resource practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high
performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and
standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment as well as ongoing development
of a superior workforce.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job
    requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains organization staff by establishing
    a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; conducting and analyzing
    exit interviews; recommending changes.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by
    establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Regularly consult with senior managers and
    develop and implement appropriate performance management practices;
  • Ensure recruitment, compensation, and
    grievance policies are compliant with labor laws and all statutory
    provisions and best practice;
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal
    of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline
    employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and
    resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and
    implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements;
    conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the
    organization at hearings.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing,
    updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintains historical human resource records
    by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current
    records.
  • Completes human resource operational
    requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work
    results.
  • Execute regular benchmarking of employee
    salaries and benefits to input into organizational design and budget
    process;
  • Assure that key benefits and payroll
    information is appropriately disseminated within the work unit when
    requested
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related
    results as needed.
  • Ensures Health and safety measures are in
    place for the development of a superior workforce.
           
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s
    degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or relevant
    field is required.
  • At least three to five years of professional
    human resources experience in a manufacturing company at least two in
    management position. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication
    skills, sound business intelligence and the ability to work in a team is a
    must.
  • High emotional intelligence and excellent
    interpersonal skills;
