the communities by provision of social Economic Development Services in the community.

About USAID SOCY Project:
APROCEL
will be implementing a Sustainable Outcomes for Children and Youth (SOCY)
project targeting Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Bushenyi and Ntungamo
Districts, funded by the United States Agency for International Development
(USAID) through Catholic Relief Services (CRS). The SOCY project interventions
shall be focusing primarily on OVC Case Management and household economic
strengthening through savings groups and associated interventions and
parenting/caregiver programs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Accounts Assistant- SOCY will be
responsible for the maintenance and management of petty cash for the
company - Keep petty cash book and related
accountability documents - In charge of filing of all financial related
documentation - In charge of preparing and submitting of
financial requisitions from staff - Ensure proper and safe custody of the company
assets - Actively participate in Budget development,
adjustments and revisions - Participate in the reconciliations of
finances for the company - Perform any other duty as may be assigned by
the Accountant
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants for the USAID SOCY Project
Accounts Assistant- SOCY career vacancy should hold a diploma in
accounting or its equivalent - Computer literacy skills a must
- Exhibition of commitment, transparency and
reliability - Age: Between 23-30 years
