Limited is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African
Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and South Sudan.
- Ensure the agreed project management methods,
standards and processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. - The incumbent will support the Project
Manager and Team Managers in the production and maintenance of project
plans. - The jobholder will also develop and maintain
the project library, filing, recording and reporting systems. - Develop and implement appropriate
configuration management procedures - Co-ordinate the production of all reports and
produce project summary reports. - Set up and maintain systems for recording
project costs. - Define and document procedures in accordance
with agreed methodology - Guide and support project team members in the
application of project procedures, disciplines and recording and reporting
standards. - Maintain risk and issue logs and change
control records. - Develop and support effective communication
mechanisms between the project teams. - Perform any other administrative tasks as
specified by the Project Manager.
- The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree
in Statistics, Business Computing, BBA, Information technology or any
related field - One to two years’ practical experience in
project management, support and analysis - Broad working knowledge and experience of a
formal project management methodology - Computer literacy skills with advanced
knowledge of the MS Office Suite and a willingness and skill to learn new
programs quickly. - Project planning ability
- Previous experience of working on IT/IS
projects / programmes - Ability to analyze and present information
- Skills and competencies in planning and organizing,
Prioritizing and planning the efficient use of resources - Interpersonal effectiveness
- Possess customer focus / orientation
- Leadership, Delegating and motivating
- High degree of adaptability and flexibility
- Good time management (organization) skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Commercial awareness knowing how to talk to
clients, establish their needs and spot opportunities - Written and verbal communication,
communicating information and ideas clearly and accurately.
