Job Summary: The Electrical Technician will support the
Kamonkoli factory by isolating, troubleshooting and repairing electrical
malfunctions using various test instruments. The jobholder also participates in
the maintenance and operation of an electrical shop in a safe, productive and
cost-effective manner.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all routine planned maintenance
is executed according to the set plan and standards - Ensure that all break downs that occur in a
shift are quickly attended to. - Ensure all maintenance work done in a shift
is reported well. - The incumbent will also ensure that all
electrical spares and tools used during maintenance are safely stored. - Take personal responsibility for ensuring
that Uganda Clay’s Quality and Safety procedures are adhered to at all
times.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should ideally hold a Diploma
in electrical/electronic engineering. - A minimum of two years’ experience in
industrial electrical equipment installation and maintenance - Excellent analytical and problem solving
skills. - Excellent interpersonal, communication and
report writing skills.
