Job Summary: The Business Development Assistant will assist the
Business Development Manager by providing administrative services for the team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • The incumbent will render support in the development
    and / or updating of all Business Development policies and procedures and
    to assist in implementation and monitoring of use
  • The jobholder will also assist in the
    gathering of data and compile various reports for management
  • Assist with presentations and projects on an
    adhoc basis
  • Offer technical support in the growth of
    business by developing / exploring new direct distribution channels;
  • Prepare and implementation of marketing and
    sales program;
  • Quickly respond to general inbox inquiries
    from prospective clients
  • Answer calls and speak to prospective/existing
    clients
  • Schedule and plan meetings for the Business
    Development team
  • Follow up with client and requests and
    deliverables from the Business Development team
  • Organize and maintain confidential
    information and other files
  • Ensure excellent customer service quality;
  • Achieve goals of portfolio growth and sales /
    business target set for the department
  • Perform any other duties as required and
    assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The applicant for the Business Development
    Assistant vacancy should hold a Diploma or Degree in Business
    Administration, Economics, or equivalent
  • Computer literacy i.e. familiarity with all
    Microsoft software applications, with knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good administrative and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to meet deadlines without
    compromising consistency in the process
  • Previous experience dealing and handling
    sensitive information
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize to guarantee that all
    issues are allocated the required time to be handled in a professional
    manner
