Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Buyer will be responsible for:
- Carrying out operational and tactical
procurement of goods and services. - Offering technical support in the delivery of
savings and supply efficiencies within the country procurement pillar. - Charged with the preparation and issuance of
local purchase orders for supplies, equipment and services. - Preparation and submission of Category and
Operational Management reports and analysis including tracking and
performance tools. - Ensuring that global and local policies and
procedures are conveyed to end users in the procurement of goods and
services.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should hold an
Undergraduate degree / equivalent in a relevant field including
purchasing, management, supply chain or business related courses. - A minimum of two years’ work experience in
procurement
