Job Summary: The Sales Manager- Sawmill Products will build,
strengthen and maintain working relationships with end users, house builders,
joinery and construction companies, offering product, sales and technical
support with a view to gaining product usage. The incumbent will also be responsible
for managing the Company’s sales activities in an efficient and effective
manner. He / she will also plan and assist with the implementation of sales
strategies in order to meet company targets for growth and profitability.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant should hold a Qualification in
    wood technology science, forestry or a related science. The applicant
    should also preferably hold a tertiary qualification in sales.
  • Applicants with a management qualification
    will have a distinct advantage over and above the essential
    qualifications.
  • Prior business to business sales’ experience
  • Working knowledge of timber products preference
  • Good negotiating skill
  • Financial accuracy
  • High level of numeracy
