Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Accomplish marketing and sales human resource
    objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling,
    coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job
    expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job
    contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing
    policies and procedures.
  • Achieve marketing and sales operational objectives
    by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to
    strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans;
    implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service
    standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends;
    determining system improvements; implementing change.
  • Meet marketing and sales financial objectives
    by forecasting requirements; meeting daily and monthly targets, preparing
    an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating
    corrective actions.
  • Determine annual and gross-profit plans by
    forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions; projecting
    expected sales volume and profit; analyzing trends and results; monitoring
    competition, supply, and demand.
  • Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by
    planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising,
    merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action
    plans.
  • Identify marketing opportunities by
    identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share,
    and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business;
    establishing targeted market share.
  • Improve product marketability and
    profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market
    opportunities.
  • Sustain rapport with key suppliers by making
    periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
  • Provide information by collecting, analyzing,
    and summarizing data and trends.
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping
    information confidential.
  • Update job knowledge by reading professional
    publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional
    organizations.
  • Accomplish marketing and organization mission
    by completing related reports as needed.
  • Ensure that all official communication is in
    writing whether it is in house communication or with suppliers or partner
    companies.
  • Respond to all incoming and outgoing enquiries
    through all official means of communication in a professional and timely
    fashion.
  • The incumbent will act as a contact between
    Be Forward.JP/Cadam Ent and customers in a professional and timely
    fashion.
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close
    the sale.
  • Represent the company at presentations, trade
    exhibitions, events, demonstrations and any other such activities where
    the company requires representation.
  • Recording and updating the Google sheets in
    Google Drive.
  • Review your own performance, aiming to meet
    or exceed targets through logging in work sheets.
  • Phone, online messages and any other forms of
    communication from superiors must be answered and addressed in a
    professional and timely manner.
  • There must be reasonable decorum for
    customers, colleagues and superiors at all times at the work place and
    outside the work environment.
  • Share current buying trends with Managers /
    Team Heads.
  • Attend team meetings and share best practice
    with colleagues.
  • Response to messages, phone calls and emails
    MUST be immediate and accurate, As soon as any correspondence is received
    it should be attended to at that very time, in a case where one is
    pre-disposed (maybe attending to another client) the correspondence should
    be assigned to the nearest available team member or manager.
  • Carry out all functions and duties as are
    from time to time assigned to you within set deadlines in a professional
    and timely manner.
  • Comply with all instructions given to you by
    your Managers.
  • Be loyal to the Company, assist the
    management of the Company and promote the business and reputation of the
    Company.
  • Behave decorously at all times, whether
    during your hours of work or after hours, in order to protect the
    Company’s reputation as an importer and warehousing company and so as not,
    by association, to bring the Company’s name into disrepute.
  • Immediately inform the Company of any changes
    to your status or circumstances such as change of address, marital status,
    dependents or qualifications.
  • If for any reason you fail to perform  the duties and roles assigned to you
    whether during or out of standard working hours and this results in the
    company making a loss, you will be accountable for the loss accrued which
    will summarily be deducted from your monthly salary / bonus.
  • Take proper care of any Company property placed
    in your possession or custody from time to time, and return such property
    when expected or requested to do so by the Company,
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor’s
    Degree in Business Administration or an equivalent from a recognized
    Institution.
  • Professional Qualifications in marketing from
    a recognized institution
  • At least three years’ progressive experience,
    as a sales and marketing manager in a reputable organization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication
    skills.
  • Leadership abilities
  • Strategic thinking: Experienced in developing marketing
    strategies
  • Decisive: Capable of delivering quick
    solutions to the marketing troubles.
  • Strong sales support and project management,
    leadership and training skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills:
    Expert in forwarding thinking & market research
  • Sound expertise in development processes and
    product marketing.
  • Excellence presentation skills
  • Effective listening skills
