Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for inspecting and testing
earthling and insulation resistance in government public and private
buildings to make sure the installation test results comply with the
government regulations; - Conducting periodic tests and assessment of
electrical installations in building to avoid fire hazards; - Carrying out electrical engineering cost
estimates for renovation and repairs in government institutions and public
buildings; - In charge of preparing electrical engineering
design and drawings for minor works; - Supervising building construction and
services installations activities and related contracts; - Taking minutes of construction site meetings;
- Preparing projects progress reports
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned
from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should be Ugandans
holding a Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any related field
from a recognized University /Institution; - A minimum of six (6) years’ experience, three
(3) of which should have been served at the level of a Senior Engineer in
Government or equivalent experience in road management from a reputable
Organisation. - Age: Above 25 years
