health.
Job Summary: The Finance Manager will provide support in the
overall financial management and accounting for its Regional Office in Muyenga,
Kampala. This will be a part-time position (50% – 75% time), as the office and
its financial portfolio is not large. 
Key Duties and Responsibilities:   The Finance
Manager will:
  • Make and document payments and manage bank
    accounts;
  • Prepare monthly financial reports in
    Quickbooks;
  • Manage a small payroll system, including PAYE
    and NSSF payments;
  • Deduct and submit WHT to URA;
  • Evaluate competitive procurements, and
    prepare purchase orders and contracts;
  • Prepare and track project and activity
    budgets;
  • Ensure compliance with CCP financial
    management policies and procedures;
  • Orient staff to financial management
    procedures;
  • Update and maintain filing system of all
    financial related documents.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The applicant should hold a Degree in
    Commerce Finance or Business Administration;
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA); part
    qualified or equivalent will be considered
  • A minimum of five years’ accounting
    experience
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and
    oral communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft
    Office and Quick Books
  • Previous experience working on US government
    funded projects a plus.
