Job Summary: The Officer, Business Reporting and Analytics will
support the Bank in the consolidation and analyses of all streams of internal
and external data, in order to provide market, business segment, portfolio,
customer and product reports, insights and recommendations to the Business to
facilitate decision making as well as to minimise revenue leakage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Measures, analyses and reports PBB
performance against strategic goals, budgets, key risk indicators and Risk
appetite for agreed dimensions at business, segment, portfolio, customer
and product level, and recommends actions to improve performance. - Identifies trends in the market, product,
segment and portfolio performance and recommends appropriate action - The incumbent builds models and tools for
assessing the viability, balance sheet, income statement and risk impact
under a variety of conditions of existing and proposed products and
segments, identifies potential challenges and forecasts performance, in
order to allow for optimization of resources. - Actively monitors new products and segments
performance against business cases and provides reports to business - Supports budgeting process by providing
aggregated past performance data and forecasts of future performance
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Stanbic Bank Officer,
Business Reporting and Analytics job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree
in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Information Management, Information
Science, Economics or related field - Certifications: SQL (Microsoft SQL Server,
Oracle, Syabase) BI Platforms (BOBJ, Cognos, Business Objects, QlikView). - At least three years in Management
Information and Analytics, with significant exposure to Retail Banking
markets and product lines - Broad knowledge and understanding of Retail Banking
business and financial services industry. - Working knowledge of the bank’s products and
how their performance is measured. - Knowledge of Retail Banking operations
including bank systems, processes, and procedures. - Working knowledge of Retail Banking risk measurement,
modelling and management - Statistical and analytical skills and
knowledge of research methodologies and techniques. - Strong computing skills, particularly
statistical and database modelling tools - Statistical modelling and data report
scripting and writing skills. - Good business report writing skills.
- Effective presentation and communication skills.
