for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) is a partner in the USAID Uganda
Voucher Plus Activity. The goal of USAID is to expand access to and the quality
of health services for pregnant women, including maternal mid child care,
facility- based delivery and postpartum family planning, through the private
sector. The project will operate in 23 districts in Northern and Eastern
Uganda.

Job Summary: The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will
support provide M& E support for the USAID project.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the USAID Project Monitoring
& Evaluation Officer job placement should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in
Statistics or Social Sciences, Sociology, Demography, Quantitative
Economics, or any related social science discipline. - At least five years’ experience in data
management. - Previous exposure and experience working with
USAID projects is desired. - Prior experience working on M&E at a
national level for a behavior change communication program is required. - Broad knowledge and understanding of M&E
as a planning & management tool. - Computer literacy i.e. proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and demonstrated
proficiency in using at least one data management software package, one
quantitative software package, and one qualitative analysis software
package. - Excellent communication and interpersonal
relationship skills. - Excellent command of written and spoken
English - Willingness to work for long hours.
