will support the Chief os party in ensuring the establishment and
implementation of an effective and efficient system to monitor progress,
impacts and successes of project activities and performance at all levels of
the program. The jobholder will also work closely with the technical team to
monitor program progress in terms of USAID compliance requirement of results
and indicators. The incumbent will provide advice and guidance on programmatic
adjustments to be responsive to the changing environment and ensure program
results. S/he will also manage M&E informational resources; ensure that
M&E information and resources are current, available for staff, and widely
disseminated.
- The ideal candidate for the World Vision Monitoring,
Evaluation and Learning Director career opportunity should preferably hold
a Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology or Statistics or another
related field; - At least six years of relevant experience in
Monitoring and Evaluation of large scale health and HIV/AIDS service
delivery and systems strengthening programs; - Possess excellent writing, presentation and
communication skills in English and - Demonstrated research experience and skills,
complemented by experience in facilitation, close collaboration with
varying types of partners. - Extensive knowledge in collaboration,
learning and adapting concepts to health projects. - Demonstrated expertise in rigorous
quantitative and qualitative research and analytical methods including
research/study design and implementation, design and data analysis, rapid
appraisals, etc. - Demonstrated hands-on practical experience
setting up and managing MER systems for health programs in developing
countries. - Excellent report writing, analytical and
communication skills, including oral presentation skills, knowledge
management and dissemination of research findings. - Demonstrated knowledge of management
information systems.
