Development Network and a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in the East
African Region, seeks to fill the following vacant positions to help take the
company into the next exciting growth phase. KPI distributes pharmaceutical
products to all parts of the country and exports to the East African region,
DRC and South Sudan.

Job Summary: The Marketing Manager will mainly focus on
identifying business opportunities and developing agreed business projects in
line with the company strategy; coordinating and implementing plans and
programs that support attainment of sales and profit targets. The incumbent’s key
focus area will be the export business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- In charge of contributing to the company’s
growth strategy through developing new products and giving marketing
support to key products. - Responsible for analyzing market trends and
developing resulting opportunities. - Identifying new markets, conducting product
feasibility tests and implementing launches. - Focus on developing and growing the business
in neighboring countries within the East African region. - Responsible for growing the institutional
market share of the company with NGOs and private hospitals. - Building and maintaining linkages between
customers, marketing and production while building relationships
internally and externally.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should have at least five years’
experience in Pharmaceutical sector preferred. - Previous experience in developing export
business. - Excellent track record and success in
marketing
