Khan Education Services (AKES) currently operates over 200 schools and advanced
educational programmes that provide quality pre-school, primary, secondary, and
higher secondary education services to students in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh,
Kenya, the Kyrgyz Republic, Uganda, Tanzania, and Tajikistan. AKESU operates
all through schools from Pre-School to High School and offers the British
National Curriculum (BNC), CIE International General Certificate of Secondary
Education (IGCSE), International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the
Uganda National Examination (UNEB) curriculum.

Job Summary: The Manager of Finance and Operations will primarily
be responsible for providing leadership in financial and operational aspects of
AKESU operations and ensure safeguard of AKES, resources through effective
execution of financial planning and management, accounting and reporting and
implementation of strong risk management and financial control policies to
drive fiscal discipline within the organization. The main responsibilities will include: Budgeting and planning,
Accounting & Statutory Compliances, monitoring Financial Systems,
Procurement, Capital project, Reporting and Analysis including overseeing the
administration areas.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should possess CPA /ACCA
qualifications or equivalent - At least five years of finance and
administration experience include three years’ experience at management
level in a busy environment - Broad working knowledge and understanding of
contemporary financial management practices and analytical tools - Excellent interpersonal skills and people
management skills and the ability to contribute as a member of the senior
management team
