Internal Audit function in ensuring an independent systematic, disciplined
approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of policies, procedures and
standards designed to add value and improve operations. S/he will also be
responsible for providing reasonable assurance in compliance with donor
requirements, internal controls, corporate governance and ensure that risk
management systems are functioning as intended.
- The successful candidate for the Internal
Auditor vacancy should hold a B.Com (Accounting), BBA (Accounting), or
Business Management/ /Finance/ Economics/Statistics, with full
professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CIA. - At least three years’ audit experience in a
reputable organisation. - Possession of a certificate in risk-based
auditing, and professional trainings in CISA/CFE will be an added
advantage. - The applicant must be in possession of a
valid membership with relevant professional bodies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills - Computer literacy i.e. Proficiency in various
MS Office packages - Working knowledge of English and local
languages - The applicant must also be highly flexible
