Job Summary: The Fundraising Officer will support Lunch4Learning
(L4L) in these areas for fundraising: demonstration school gardens, improved food
security, school health and hygiene, water harvesting, school feeding, youth
entrepreneurship and employability, improved nutrition and improved learning
Outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compile and maintain a database of local and
international donors - Compile thorough research for the
organization - Consistently monitor donors’ websites and new
calls for proposals - Update and maintain a database of
successfully funded projects in the region and develop a list of potential
partners that could be contacted for future collaborations. - Build new working relationships with donors
and other NGOs - The incumbent will write winning concept
notes and full project proposals for the organization - Develop the organization’s fundraising
strategy
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study. - At least two years’ demonstrated experience
in securing donations. - Broad working knowledge and experience in
computer applications and Internet. - Competent in the use of social media.
