Job Summary: The Data Officer will be in charge of reviewing
and implementing MEL management systems and guidelines for measuring and
tracking programmes/projects performance routinely in the Kampala based clinics
and from other assigned sites in line with the MEL departmental mission.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Data Officer job
opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s (honors) degree in Statistics or
(Demography or Quantitative Economics or IT with a formal qualification in
Monitoring and Evaluation). - A minimum of two years’ experience in Log
Frame Approach; Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation. - Proficient in the application of qualitative
and quantitative M&E methods with a reputable NGO, and direct
experience with government and donor representatives - Good team player
- Excellent communication skills
- The applicant must be dynamic
- Highly persuasive and convincing
- Self-motivated and able to demonstrate high
initiative. - Good networking and partnership skills.
- Working knowledge of common Statistical
analysis and database management packages such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft
Excel, STATA, SPSS and EPiDATA.
