Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- In charge of gathering and analyzing
information to assist in the planning formulation and development of
relevant policies - Responsible for designing, formulating
relevant policy options within the Ministry - Render support in the evaluation, review
update of existing policies with the Ministry - Support the monitoring and evaluation of the
implementation and effects of policies - Arranging policy meetings and distributes
policy information - Consulting and participating in Ministerial
meetings on policy issues - Attending meetings in the Ministry that have
a bearing on policy issues - Making draft policy proposals and write
concept papers on policies within the Ministry - Perform any other duties as assigned by the
Senior Policy Analyst
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants for the Policy Analyst job should
be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or
Development Studies or Economics or Statistics or Business Administration
(Management option) or any relevant Degree in Policy Studies from a
recognized University/Institution. - Age: Above 21 years

- Good communication and computer Skills
- Proven ability to adapt to multi-cultural
setting - High degree of innovation concern for
quality, standards technical - Proven ability to coach subordinates and
