Job Summary: The Audit Assistant will support the UCL Kajjansi
factory in conducting independent analyses of documents and records and verify
items to ensure that controls put in place by management are followed to meet
the set goals and objectives the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out spot checks to ensure that all
procedures are followed and are in agreement with the policies. - Keenly review all transactions and
documentation to ensure that all the relevant information documented is
accurate and adequately support the transactions that are authorized and
approved. - Prepare and submit reports that meet the
engagement objective to provide management and the board assurance on risk
management processes, effectiveness of internal controls and good
corporate governance practices on a timely basis, accurately and
constructively. - Regularly
review transactions and document evidence that is obtained and confirm
that it is aligned with pre-set criteria. - Work in accordance with the company’s Quality
and Safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Audit Assistant should hold a bachelor’s
degree in Commerce, Business Administration- Accounting. - At least level two of professional
qualification in ACCA, CPA or CIMA. - At least two years’ experience in either
external or internal audit. - Good judgment and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer knowledge in auditing.
