Job Summary: The Personal Assistant to the CEO will provide an
efficient and responsive administrative, organizational, and logistical service
to the BRAC Microfinance CEO, helping him to manage and priorities his time.
The Personal assistant will be responsible for providing full secretarial
assistance to the management team during absences to ensure a high level of
service is maintained. This position will be of key importance within the
organization and the successful candidate must have previous secretarial and administrative
experience within a fast-paced customer facing environment. The PA should be
able to demonstrate the ability to effectively plan and organize their workload
and the initiative to resolve issues quickly in an appropriate manner.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- In charge of managing the CEO’s calendar
accordingly and this include planning for appointments and bookings as
required. - Responsible for organizing office
correspondence into the appropriate folders and any relevant information
to be copied into the correct file on the hard drive. - Where applicable responding to all
correspondence, dealing with appointments, requiring Bio or photos etc.
Ensuring all busy diary commitments, papers and travel arrangements are
managed effectively including producing a daily folder with diary,
necessary papers etc. and troubleshooting problems. - Carrying out weekly diary meetings with the
MD to discuss upcoming engagements, invitations and other requests. - In charge of coordinating travel and
accommodation requirements in connection with others and ensure arrangements
in place for the CEO’S are in line with his requirements. - Filter general information^ queries, phone
calls and invitations to the CEO appropriately - Ensuring that the CEO is fully briefed on, or
prepared for, any engagements he is involved in. Keeping and maintaining
an accurate record of papers and electronic correspondence on behalf of
the CEO - In charge of recording and circulating
meeting minutes as and when required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Personal Assistant
career placement should preferably hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Office and
Information Management, Secretarial Studies or any other relevant
qualifications. - At least two years of post-qualification experience
in a busy environment preferably in banking or microfinance industry - Previous experience working for as an
executive assistant will be an added advantage. - Excellent communication and Interpersonal
skills - Good knowledge of computer (Word, Excel,
Powerpoint, etc) - Ability to work under pressure
