Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- In charge of capacity development of branch
accounts officers, Regional accounts manager and Area accounts managers.
Also, the incumbent will ensure a good working environment for all the
accountants - Cash and Cash equivalent system management,
ensuring cash at hand and cash at bank is maintained and kept as per
office circular and organizations internal control system. - Charged with inventory and stock system
management. By ensuring stock in and out is well supported and physical
count is done on regular interviews. - In charge of reconciling stock registers and
system and ensuring proper documentation, filling of all stock/ inventory
documents. - Keep an overall idea about the budget and
activities of all programs and analyze the budget variances by monitoring
whether all the expenses are properly recorded and posted according to the
budget at the time of visiting Branch and Area offices. - Perform any other duties.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Accounts Manager Field Operations should
degrees in B.COM, BBA and at least part-II of ACCA/ CPA. - At least three years of progressive working
experience - Ability to use personal computers and
peripherals basic accounting. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and
Power point. - Skilled in the comparison of manual
procedures and automated procedures
