About USAID RHVP Project:
The
USAID-funded Reproductive Health Voucher Program (RHVP) in Uganda aims to
achieve measurable improvements in safe motherhood services by supporting
health financing and innovative service delivery models in the private sector.
Job Summary: The Data Specialist will offer support in the
entry of data in the USAID Project particularly in project monitoring and
evaluation activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Offer technical support for data collection,
    reporting and analysis of health programs indicators.
  • Conduct field visits for data collection and
    verification.
  • Work closely with the technical specialists
    to aggregate data according to agreed data models, and perform timely data
    reporting and analysis
  • Render support in the documentation and
    filing across the project, especially data and report files.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the USAID Data
    Specialist career opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business,
    Management, Social Sciences, or other relevant field.
  • The applicant should have a minimum of four
    years’ experience OR the equivalent combination of education and
    experience in program data management.
  • English oral and written communication
    skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency in
    Microsoft Office applications.
