Job Summary: The Trainer/Lecturer will be responsible for the
development, delivery and monitoring of relevant and evidence based training
and education programmes aimed at building capacity of health care providers to
deliver quality care and support for PL.HIV and other emerging health issues. The
jobholder will take lead of one of the
long programs as well as teach and assess students on both long and short term
programs.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a Master’s
degree in a health related profession, with a minimum adult teaching
experience of at least two years. - Additional training in palliative care is an
added advantage. - The successful candidate must show
demonstrable experience/ knowledge of HIV and/or other chronic illnesses
as well as knowledge of current WHO and MOH guidelines - Ability to mentor and supervise students in
both cognitive and practical skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills - Computer literacy i.e. Proficiency in various
MS Office packages - Working knowledge of English and local
languages - The applicant must also be highly flexible
- Show sympathy with the Christian values of
Mildmay Uganda - Evidence of a non-judgemental approach
regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical.
