outside Kampala city centre in Lubowa, along Entebbe road. Other group

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Submitting daily production (including
commercial & scrap)/attendance/maintenance reports for the entire
machines to management. - Guiding management on anticipated equipment
failures. - In charge of machine care and maintenance of
all the machines. - Ensure proper communication with respective
department heads and execution of instruction, requisition and ensuring
proper use of raw materials, manpower and consumables. - Providing technical support during the
maintenance of machines. - Ensuring quality of finished products.
- In charge of organizing, leading and
supervising the activities of the staff under the job title holder. - Maintaining discipline of manpower in all the
sections. - Perform any other duties as may be assigned
by the Factory Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Shift Engineer
should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. - A minimum of five years’ experience in
similar role (preferably in the steel industry)
