Job Summary: The Microfinance Program Officer will take
overall lead of the Microfinance Program directly responsible for supervision
of 9 SACCOs.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the Hunger Project Microfinance
    Program Officer career opportunity should hold a Masters or University
    Degree in Finance, Banking, Microfinance and accounting or economics
    related areas, such as business studies, or social sciences or B.sc in
    Agriculture.
  • A minimum of five years relevant experience,
    (such as; group lending, VLSA’s) in a micro finance institution/ bank/
    SACCO, with three years at Management level:
  • Significant exposure and experience in or
    familiar with NGO environment for up to 3 years.
