Job Summary: The In-House
Surgeon will collaborate with other Medical Surgeons in ensuring 24-hour daily
coverage of the Department of Surgery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide surgical care to the hospital’s
patients with utmost professionalism. - Provide consultation and surgical assistance
to other physicians and surgeons. - Direct and coordinate activities of nurses
and other medical staff in the management of surgical patients. - Refer patients to other specialties when
necessary. - Manage surgery services, including planning,
scheduling and coordination, determination of procedures. - Carry out research to develop and test
surgical techniques that can improve operating procedures and outcomes.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: The
applicant should preferably hold an MMED or equivalent from a recognised
University / College and registration as a Specialist by UMDPC (or the relevant
licensing board in the candidate’s country of practice)
