Job Summary: The Human Resource and Administration Officer will
be responsible for providing support in the various human Resource and Administration
functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and the development,
performance Monitoring, employee counseling and Administration.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- In charge of administering payroll and
maintaining employees’ records - Provide technical advice and assistance when
conducting staff performance evaluations - Provide basic counseling to staff who have
performance related obstacles - Plan and identify training and development
opportunities for staff - The jobholder will also provide expert advice
and assistance in developing human resource plans - In charge of developing and implementing
policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management,
equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management - Carry out staff orientations
- Work in liaison with various departments,
play an advisory role of assisting line managers to understand and
implement human resource policies and procedures - Advising on pay and other remuneration
issues, including promotion and benefits - Dealing with grievances and implementing
disciplinary procedures - Responsible for developing, with line
managers, HR planning strategies which consider immediate and long-term
staff requirements - Establish and maintain appropriate systems
that promote security and safety for property, staff and visitors at
Capital Radio Ltd. - Develop and implement systems and procedures
that facilitate delivery of efficient and effective office and administrative
services to internal and external customers. - Provide guidance to both management and staff
on all matters pertaining to welfare and employee relations including
terms and conditions of service.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor’s
Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration or a
related field - Possession of a postgraduate Diploma/ Masters
in Human Resource Management and /or Masters in Business Administration
(MBA) will be an added advantage. - At least five years of related working
experience in a similar working environment - Human resources management and administration
skills - Working knowledge and abilities in performance
review and evaluation - Skilled in staff
training , development and recognition - Broad
knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures - Basic
counseling , supervisory and team building skills - Effective
communications skills including: Verbal, Written and Listening skills - Excellent public
relations and interpersonal skills - Age: Between 30
to 40 years.
