Job Summary: The Finance Manager will oversee the
organisation’s financial resources and ensure that they are adequate, well
managed and properly utilised for effective implementation of the planned activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor’s
degree in B.Com (Accounting), BBA (Accounting) or BSC/BA Economics - The applicant must also hold full
professional qualifications i.e. ACCA, CPA, CIMA. - A minimum of six years’ experience in
Finance, Accounting or Auditing. - Four years at a Senior Management level in
organisations similar to Mildmay Uganda. - The ideal candidates should also have proven
knowledge of donor financial accounting (multi-donor reporting) - Broad knowledge and understanding of GoU and
IAS/AFRS accounting requirements. - Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency in MS
Word, MS Excel and knowledge of at least two - accounting packages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills - Working knowledge of English and local
languages - The applicant must also be highly flexible
- Show sympathy with the Christian values of
Mildmay Uganda - Evidence of a non-judgemental approach
regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical.
