Job Summary: The Data Usage & Retention Manager will be in charge
of implementing and ensuring that Data products are as per the agreed marketing
submissions in respect to tariffs, product performance and customer experience
so as to increase data revenue through increasing and retaining data
subscribers

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leverage market research & get consumer
insights into data consumer behavior and preferences to drive future
promotions - Carry out feedback sessions with internal and
external customers on the performance of Data Products - Develop new products and initiatives for
Customers in line with customer surveys and engagements and benchmarking
whilst transferring Best Practices across Zones - Continually review the current product
portfolio and ensure that it is in line with market trends and implement
changes as per the customer needs - The job holder will also launch segmented
products to acquire Data revenue earning customers - The Data Usage & Retention Manager will monitor
the trends of customer demands and acceptability or inclination to data
products and services - Work closely with other departments such as
IT, Commercial Teams and Customer Experience for product performance and
launch of new products
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Airtel Data Usage
& Retention Manager career opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree
in relevant field - Possession of a Post-graduate qualification
(e.g. CIM), an MBA would be an added advantage - At least three to five years’ experience in a
marketing position, with a focus on product development. - Significant experience of Telecommunications
Industry or FMCG marketing environment - Ability to operate in a performance driven
organization - Affinity with and technical knowledge of the
latest technologies and services used within the industry and affiliated
industries - Excellent Data analysis and Excel skills
- Highly motivated, flexible and decisive with
ability to convince and align groups with divergent views - Customer focused
- Sets high personal standards and is goal
oriented - Excellent communications skills, both orally
and in writing
