Uganda National Oil Company Limited (UNOC) was established by Article 42 of the
Petroleum (Exploration, Development and Production) Act 2013 and incorporated
under the Company’s Act 2012. It is a fully registered limited liability
company wholly owned by Government of Uganda. The overall function of UNOC is;

- The ideal candidate for the CEO vacancy
should hold a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Law, Business
Administration, Finance and Petroleum Geosciences; - At minimum of fifteen years’ experience, 10
years of which must have been in a senior position in a busy and
successful company or organization; - Working knowledge and experience in the
petroleum industry is an added advantage. - Excellent communication, personnel management
skills - Impeccable level of personal integrity;
- Be commercially astute, possess sound
negotiations and leadership skills and have ability to raise capital for
the Company
