Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Chef will be planning with regards to the
menu items and any specials which the dinning may be offering - In charge of planning the day’s specials
- Participate in preparing the menu items on a
weekly basis - Perform administrative duties such as ensuring
that employees report to work - Calculate purchase order costs
- Placing food orders from suppliers
- Addressing both workers and customer’s
complaints - Mentoring and training kitchen staff
- Ensuring that all food handling regulations
are abided by.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Chef job should hold a
relevant academic diploma or degree in Catering. - At least two or more years’ working
experience with busy restaurants. - Excellent negotiation and communication
skills , - Excellent presentation skills and dynamic
