Job Summary: The Business Manager will support the Head Client
Coverage and the Coverage strategy through ongoing research and analysis to
fully understand the clients’ business, context, and identify potential
business opportunities and risks for the bank. Interpret the research findings
and analytics. Make recommendations regarding potential opportunities or risks
so that the Client Coverage Head is able to proactively identify solutions or
mitigate commercial risks. The incumbent will provide administrative support to
ensure effective execution of the coverage agenda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Client Coverage Performance Analysis /
Monitoring & Engagement with various stakeholders. Engage with various
stakeholders like Finance, Salesforce.com team, CRT team to support
Coverage performance and administration. - In charge of the participation in Client
Relationship Management- Compile and analyse information regarding sales
activity and business pipeline for
the allocated Sectors. Interact and liaise with different sectors with the
purposes of providing or requesting information, to assist in the updating of deal execution
status or for critical information for the bank. Salesforce.com Champion
for Client Coverage responsible for driving adoption, update of pipeline,
accurate revenue numbers loading - Information Management- Ensure that the
client information is updated in all the relevant information systems. - Compile and analyse reports on client profitability, product
profitability and actively participate in the budget planning and
performance management process. - Assist the Head Client Coverage in the
Monitoring of the Credit Process / activities and Compliance related
issues - Provide support the Credit Process-Support
Managers: Client Coverage in the credit process including credit
applications, PCC (paper
preparation), excess management, and compliance related issues to
achieve zero write-off of debt, zero operational loss issues and
other relevant workflows between
credit and coverage. - Responsible for client deal enablement at the
required standard
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Stanbic Bank Business
Manager job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree in business or
business related field. Possession of a post graduate business degree will
be considered an advantage. - At least one to two years’ experience in the
Banking, Financial Services or Business Consulting. - Previous exposure and experience in
conducting research and analytics, supported by strong computer
proficiency skills. - Working knowledge of Corporate Banking
business and metrics
