Uganda Limited (IAU) is a non-governmental humanitarian national organization
established in 1988, and duly registered with the NGO Board and NGO Forum. IAU
is actively involved in programs geared towards the protection and improvement
of lives of disadvantaged people living in urban and rural areas in Uganda and
in the Great Lakes Region. InterAid Uganda is focused on its thematic areas of
Rights Protection, Education, Livelihood & Food Security, Health
(HIV&AIDS; Malaria; Maternal and Reproductive Health), Water, Sanitation
& Hygiene (WASH), Environment and Disaster Management and good Management
and Governance systems.

- Driving staff and clients
- Tasked with the delivery of parcels as
expected - Update Insurance
- Ensure the vehicle is in a clean condition to
reflect the image of the organization. - Transport or any person or parcel as
requested by the IAU at any given venue. - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the vehicle is in a roadworthy
condition - In charge of identifying mechanical faults
and any other defects on the vehicle and report immediately to the senior
driver. - Conducting daily condition checks on the
vehicle. - Ensure at all times that the vehicle is
securely locked for the safety of company tools and other properties in
custody of the driver. - Collect and take refugees/asylum seekers to
required destinations such as homes, hostels etc. as and whenever
required. - Ensure that all fuel issues are recorded
against the correct vehicle number. - Keenly verify that all damaged parts are
replaced when vehicle is repaired or serviced. - Ensure that stores policies and procedures
are complied with by all staff.
- The Drivers should at least hold an “O” level
certificate. - Possess a Valid Driver’s license with class
B, CM, DL - A minimum of three years’ experience in a
reputable organization - Possess a clean driving record.
- Working knowledge of defensive driving
- Knowledge of the Ugandan traffic laws and
regulations.
