non-political, non-religious and non-profit making organization with the main
aim of protecting and seeking durable solutions for Refugees and IDPs in Africa
in partnership with UNHCR the UN refugee agency.
Job Summary: The Civil Engineer will be in charge of monitoring
and supervising constructions and all civil works in the project
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinate and manage civil works under AIRD.
  • Coordinate the development of BOQ’s and
    drawings for different civil works as requested by the Donors.
  • Follow up on all civil works and prepare
    periodic progress reports on the on-going works.
  • Actively participate in the budgeting process
    whenever called upon.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Program
    Officer.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate should preferably hold a degree
    in Civil Engineering
  • A minimum of three years or related civil
    work experience
  • Broad knowledge, understanding and experience
    of civil works
