Job Summary: The Agriculture-Nutrition Officer will work with
the nutritionists in the development and expansion of the keyhole gardens
initiative for the Mother Care Groups (MCG’s) and the Male Change Component
(MCAs). These gardens will help to meet the nutritional needs of the
communities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Agriculture-Nutrition
Officer job placement should hold a Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture
or Agricultural Extension Services. Possession of a Degree in Horticulture
/Agriculture/Agricultural extension services is an added advantage. - A minimum of three years’ practical experience
in the implementation of a livelihoods/Nutrition/WASH project focusing
mainly on horticulture. - Working knowledge of gardening techniques,
pesticide use and safety techniques and conservational agriculture are
required. - Agribusiness skills, Supervisory skills and
Good computer skills are vital. - The candidate must be proficient in both
spoken and written English. - Possession of a valid motorbike permit (Class
A) is desirable.
