Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) was established by an Act of Parliament;
The Uganda National Authority Act, No. 15 of 2006. UNRA became operational on
1st July 2008. The mandate of UNRA is to
develop and maintain the national roads network, advise Government on general
roads policy and contribute to addressing of transport concerns, among others.

Job Summary: The Senior Officer Business Analyst will be
primarily responsible for the design, modelling and documentation of enterprise
business processes in consultation with stakeholders. The incumbent will be
expected to graphically represent how business is done (as-is) and how business
is to be done (to-be) across the business units or between UNRA and other
government agencies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct
systems and manual process analysis, process design and modelling - Actively
monitor, analyse and review business processes to identify process gaps
and to enable development of improvement strategies - Develop
supporting material and provide input on training for operational
processes - Build
and strengthen working relationships with subject matter experts within
the business to understand end to end processes and ensure effective
solutions - Perform any other duties as assigned by the Senior
Manager Enterprise Architecture and Standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicant for the UNRA Senior Officer Business Analyst job vacancy should
hold an Honours Bachelor’s in a civil engineering field, Information
Technology, Business Management or any other relevant courses from a
recognized University - Possession
of a Postgraduate in Management or MBA is preferred or any other relevant
management courses from a recognized University. - Additional
training in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis or equivalent are an added
advantage. - At
least three years’ experience of professional corporate experience in a
highly reputable organization. - Proven
exposure and working experience in working at a leadership role in an
organization/business unit/Project with diverse professions. - High
degree of integrity - Excellent
track record of outstanding performance - Excellent
interpersonal, particularly staff/management relations - Excellent
oral and written communication skills - Ability
to work and produce accurate results in an environment with multiple and
challenging tasks.
